Mono-bloc stamped with makers name, address, gauge and chamber information. Bottom of mono-bloc stamped with serial number, grade and 1971 Italian nitro proofs. Coin finished Beretta patent low profile sidelock action features hand detachable locks, non automatic safety and gold plated single non selective trigger. Action engraved with full coverage nicely cut and shaded medium open scroll with small rose bouquet highlights. Top lever thumb piece is pierced in floral motif and has inlaid gold crown. Bottom of action engraved"BREVETTATO" in forend iron mortise with makers name and address in arched band on trigger plate. Blued trigger guard engraved "M Z"on circle in center of bow flanked by more floral and scroll engraving. Serial number is on tang. Engravers signature is on trigger plate. Lightly marbled and figured European walnut hard rubber capped pistol grip buttstock measures 14 3/8'over black Decelerator sporting clays pad. Point pattern checkering at grip. Matching slim one piece forend has Deeley type release. Bore diameters: top - .732, restriction: .032 (IM), bottom - .732, restriction: .017 (lt mod). Minimum wall thickness: top - .032, bottom - .033. DAH: 1 3/4�. DAC: 1 1/2�. WEIGHT: 7 lbs. 7 oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: high quality tan leather case by Teyssier lined in purple cloth, contains a pair of snap caps and bags for barrel and action. CONDITION: very fine, retaining approx. 98% metal finish. Barrels possibly have an old reblack. Stocks retain most of their original finish with some lifting around lockplates. Butt portion has some new oil with installation of newer pad. Checkering shows light wear, darkened. Bores are excellent, shiny throughout. Action is tight. Ejectors are slightly out of time.
