Extensively period engraved DA revolver, .44 cal., 2-1/2” barrel, nickel finish, ivory grips, Belgian proofed, bobbed hammer, top strap inscribed “BRITISH LION”, #NVSN. This gun is in overall good to very good condition showing near full coverage of scroll engraving with “W. Moore & Co.” engraved on the top of the barrel; considerable original nickel finish remaining with some scattered areas of light erosion and pin prick pittingbut nothing objectionable; fair bore and action; good markings, beautiful ivory grips with toning and classic age cracking lines. Est.: $900-$1,800.
