Francotte A’ Liege with fine scroll engraving and exceptional ebony grip carved in high relief with matching carved ivory butt cap. The revolvermeasures 13 ¼” overall with a 6” barrel and is in .44 caliber percussion. The revolver retains 70% to 80% bright original blue with some losses at the left front muzzle, on the trigger guard and the edges. The areas where the blue has liftedshow some erosion and pinprick pitting just starting. The markings and edges are fairly crisp. The grips are in near fine condition and extremely attractive. The nipple show their original straw finish. The action is very good and the bore is excellent. The right side of the frame is hand engraved “Adams patent” and “number 1316” also the cylinder is hand engraved with the same script and number.
