Excellent. The shotgun retains 98% of the original blue finish with some minor scratches, minor muzzle wear and some very light spotting. The blue on the barrel sides is beginning to fade with a smooth gray patina forming near the breech and gray patina forming on the high edges. The upper tang exhibits some minor break leaver and safety wear. The frame has some light handling marks and some mild discoloration mainly in the protected areas. The engraving and markings are clear and crisp. The wood is excellent with some minor scratches, a few light dings and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good.
