Manufactured in 1910 and subsequently engraved and gold inlaid by Master Engraved Alvin White in 1968. The revolver features floral scroll and punch dot engraving on the barrel, outer edge of the ejector housing, the frame, cylinder flats, front sight and hammer sides, trigger guard and back strap. The upper edge of the ejector housing and the sides of the top strap have a leaf and punch dot design. In addition there are gold inlaid bands around the muzzle and breech ends of the barrel, rear of the cylinder, gold inlaid band bordering around the cylinder fluted and accents on the trigger guard. The left recoil shield features a gold relief bust of a cowboy, the loading gate has gold inlaid spurs and a gold relief long horned steers head on the back strap with blue horns. The top of the back strap has the gold inlaid initials "EG". The right side of the front strap under the grip has a small inset plaque marked "AA WHITE / ENG.". The top of the barrel is marked with the one line address, the left side ""45 COLT" and the tow line, three patent dates are marked on the left side of the frame followed by the circled Rampant Colt. Casehardened hammer and frame, with blue on the remaining parts, and fitted with smooth two piece pearl grips. The revolver is accompanied by a letter from Elwood Glover to a prospective buyer which states that this revolver was for him by Alvin White. Elwood Glover worked for the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Company) for 37 years and was most known for his television talk show "Elwood Glovers Luncheon Date" from 1963 to 1975. Previously Glover had hosted a noon time CBC radio program from 1956 and during WWII he was the chief announcer for CBC. In 1975 he left CBC to host a weekend radio show on CKEY radio. His total broadcasting career lasted 46 years. He passed away November 14,1990.

Condition: Custom embellished by master engraver Alvin White with virtually all of the blue finish remaining, which is beginning to dull a bit on the left side of the barrel. 98% of the case colors remain on the frame with a small area faded to gray under the Rampant Colt. All of the bright gold inlay remains. The grips are excellent plus with only the slightest handling/storage marks. The markings are clear, the engraving crisp, and the action is excellent.
