This is an excellent example of a 1st variation ac/41 code P38 pistol, which retains its original matching serialized magazine. The left side of the slide is marked "P.38" next to "ac/41" and then the serial number. The left side of the frame is marked with the matching serial number followed by a Nazi "Eagle/359" proof, and the left upper front of the trigger guard is marked "ac". The right side of the slide has a single Eagle firing proof flanked by two "Eagle/359" acceptance proofs of the Walther factory. The complete matching serial number is marked on the slide, left side of the frame and on the front of the barrel lug. The locking lug is marked "389" on the bottom, the number "52" and Eagle firing proof on the left side and the "Eagle/359" proof on the right side. The left side of the barrel lug is marked with the bore dimension "8,83", the right side is marked with "6" and the "Eagle/359" proof and the bottom "ac". The "Eagle/359" proof is also marked on the takedown lever, slide stop, thumb safety, trigger, hammer, trigger bar, and top of the slide ahead of the rear sight. The pistol comes with one blue magazine correctly numbered "1389b" on the bottom of the floor plate, marked "P.38" on the lower left side and marked with two "Eagle/359" proofs on the spine. Fitted with rust colored ribbed bakelite grips with a Lanyard loop on the lower left side. Complete with a black leather flap holster marked "P38" on the back behind the belt loops and "QCX/1941/Eeagle/WaA930" between the loops.
