This is a early Nazi Luger pistol, with the top of the chamber is dated 1938 and the front toggle has the wartime code of "S/42", for the Mauser factory. The right side of the barrel extension is stamped double "Eagle 63" Waffenamt proof along with the single Eagle firing proof. It is numbered in the military fashion with the full serial number on the front of the frame, the underside of the barrel and the left side of the barrel extension with the last two digits on the various small parts. With all other markings and features being standard. It is fitted with a set of checkered walnut grips that are numbered with a large number 15 on the back side of each grip. It is complete with an all blued 122/Eagle 37 Waffenamt, marked "fxo" magazine with the aluminum base which has been partially renumbered (7715k) to match the Luger.
