The receiver was manufactured in October 1941 with the barrel marked upside down "S-A-10-41". The barrel also has British proof marks and "X30/06" marked right side up. These markings indicate that this rifle was probably sent to Britain as part of the Lend-Lease program. Standard front sight with anti-tamper button and standard rear sight with a checkered elevation drum marked "BATTLE RANGE" and an unmarked windage drum. Mounted on a smooth walnut pistol grip stock with a boxed "S.A./G.H.S." cartouche, ordnance wheel cartouche and a circled "P" proof.

Condition: Excellent with 98% original parkerized finish with some high edge and scattered minor wear. The stainless gas cylinder is bright. The stock is very fine with crisp original cartouches, some scattered minor scratches and dings with some larger dings present on the handguard and heel.
