Used by the Swiss military from 1882 to as late as 1950. The hardwood grooved grips on this revolver indicate that it was a later production model while the earlier guns will be seen with checkered hard rubber grips. There is a lanyard ring at the bottom of the pistol grip, which is slotted for a stock (which is not included). It features a blade front sight and notched rear sight, fluted cylinder and mechanical rod ejection. All serial numbers match, which is marked on almost all of the parts. Straw colored hammer, trigger, loading gate and ejector rod retainer. Swiss cross is marked on most of the parts, and various Swiss proofmarks appear on the left side of frame forward of the cylinder.
