According to factory records (copy included) this pistol was shipped to Shapleigh Hardware Company of St. Louis, Missouri on 3 March 1920, with all features verified save the "Not Listed" grips. Fixed sights, with the left side of the slide marked with the two line, two block patent dates and Hartford address bisected by the Rampant Colt, and the right side marked "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE 45" ahead of the ejection port. Marked "GOVERNMENT MODEL" over the serial number on the right frame side, "92" on the right side of the trigger guard and "W/VP" on the left side of the trigger guard. Wide hammer, long trigger, short beavertail and smooth flat mainspring housing with lanyard staple. Fitted with checkered grips and a two tone unmarked magazine.

Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains 95% plus original blue finish showing light takedown scratches around the magazine catch, bright edge wear and minor spotting and handling marks on the rear lower edge of grip safety. The grips are also excellent with sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
