Introduced in 1883 this example has rare floral pattern hard rubber grips which are also known as peacock or wild turkey stocks. The barrel rib is stamped with the two line address/patent dates marking, the left barrel side has the caliber marking and the right side of the frame has the S&W monogram. Cylinder, barrel and latch are numbered to the gun. Blue with casehardened hammer and trigger. The grips have a floral pattern with bird lurking in the design and the S&W monogram at the top. The right grip panel has the number "753" on the back.

Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 95% plus original blue finish showing some very minor thinning. The hammer and trigger retain 95% original deep case colors. The screw heads still retain their handsome original niter blue finish. The grips are excellent plus with clear and crisp patterns. Mechanically sound. Overall a beautiful little S&W with a magnificent set of grips!
