Produced from 1955 to 1964, the Model 58 was the first Remington semi-auto to move away from Browning's recoil-driven design, instead using gas operation. White front and nickel mid beads, with a "SKEET" marked choke and a 2 3/4" chamber. Both sides of the frame are roll engraved, with a pair of bird dogs flushing a group of 3 birds in a grassland scene on the left, a group of three ducks in flight over a lakeside on the right, and the "SC" grade mark on the underside. Fitted with an extra fancy walnut stock, with the adjustable gas port integrated into the magazine cap, fine areas of checkering on the beavertail forearm and pistol grip, a Remington grip cap with Fleur-de-Lis accents, 13 3/4 inch pull, and a serrated Remington buttplate.
