This is a very nice example of a 1937 dated Mauser Luger pistol rig. The top of the chamber is dated 1937 and it has the "S/42" code marking on the front toggle. It has the "Eagle/63" Waffenamt proofs on the barrel extension and barrel. There is a single eagle firing proof also on the barrel extension, barrel and breechblock. It is correctly marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" on the safety area and extractor, respectively. It is complete with two original matching magazines that have the blue, folded sheet metal steel bodies, with the aluminum bases that are marked "3884/t/Eagle/63" and "3884/t/+/Eagle/63". This Luger is complete with a very nice WWII brown leather holster that is marked on the back side "R.EHRHARDT/POESSNECK", "eagle/WaA186" and "1937" and an original "eagle/63" Waffenamt proofed takedown tool.
