Colt three-date in two-lines patent markings and encircled Rampant Colt trademark on the left side of the frame, with a "&" stamp inside the hammer well, "959" on the loading gate, and "VP in triangle" and "W" stamps on the guard. Colt high polish blue barrel and cylinder with casehardened frame and hammer. All screw are a bright niter blue. All visible serial numbers match. Stock:
Gauge: 45 Long Colt
Finish: blue/casehardened
Grips: black hard rubber

Condition: Excellent, 85% plus of the original blue finish, showing a thinning blue to aged brown patina along high points on the barrel and some thinning on the grip strap. The front sight still shows a strong polished feathering pattern. The cylinder retains 95% original blue finish showing a slight drag line. All edges are sharp. The frame and hammer exhibit nearly all of their original brilliant and rich case colors. The screws and hammer display a strong 95% of their original handsome niter blue.
