European two-handed broadsword of Germanic form with early armorer marked forged steel blade and showing quality hand forged hilt and pommel with leather covered grip. The sword measures 74” overall with a 52” blade. This style of broadsword or two-handed sword would date from the period of the 1580 to 1650 and the blade is definitely genuine to the period but the hand forged guard and pommel may be 19th century although absolutely correctly made showing forging and casting.
