Escape From L.A. Latex Armature Hand Prop
Snake Plissken (Kurt Russell) is once again in an apocalyptic world in John Carpenter's "Escape From L.A." (1996). In one of the key scenes, Russell along with the alluring Taslima (Valeria Golino), are captured and end up in the "lab" of the "Surgeon General of Beverly Hills" (Bruce Campbell), who wants to harvest their "fresh" body parts for the many rich Bev Hill "patrons'" who desperately need major work on their own melting faces and organs. This is a screen used bloody hand with special wire armature to make the fingers move, that was used in this sequence. It was crafted by Special Effects Wizard Andrea Le Vine at her studios. Comes with a Letter of Provenience from Le Vine. This beautifully realized latex hand is approx. 11" long. There is a slight tear in the palm exposing the intricate armature inside.
