Escape From L.A. Bloody Foot And Leg w/ Bone Prop
In John Carpenter's "Escape" sequel "Escape from LA" (1996), the crazed "Surgeon General of Beverly Hills" (Bruce Campbell) harvests body parts from his victims to "install" on his "melting" rich old Beverly Hills patrons. At one point he captures both Snake (Kurt Russell), and Taslima (Valeria Golino) and brings them to his "lab" to harvest their wonderfully "fresh" parts. The lab is filled with a vast assortment of body parts which have been crudely "detached" from their owners. This is an especially realistic right foot and leg, cut just below the knee, exposing the leg bone in the middle of a truly bloody stump! A treat for the eyes, and a grand display piece for office and home! Crafted for the film by legendary Special Effects Artist Andrea Le Vine, this screen used leg comes from her private collection, and include a Letter of Provenience from Le Vine. (Foot and Leg are approx. 17" x 9").
