Invented by David Williamson, the Moore Single Shot was made between 1866 and 1870. German silver blade front and hammer notch rear sights, with an engraved arrow on top of the barrel and "WILLIAMSON'S PAT. OCT. 2. 1866 NEW YORK" on the left. Excellent scroll and punch-dot engraving is visible on the silver finished upper tang, breech, trigger guard and trigger guard finials, with a sunburst pattern on the tip of the stock, which ends in a checkered bird's head butt. The barrel is numbered to the gun. Comes with a contemporary "Peace Within" book box.
