Blue barrels with high ramp blade front sight and an express 5 leaf rear sight on a quarter rib. The top of the rib is marked "WESTLEY RICHARDS & Co LONDON" ahead of the rear sight and the top of the left barrel is marked "FOR 22 HI POWER CARTRIDGE" near the breech. The bottom of both barrels are numbered to the gun and there are various British proofs on the barrel flats. The boxlock action is casehardened and features fine floral scroll engraving and is marked "WESTLEY RICHARDS & Co" on both sides. The engraving pattern extends to the trigger guard, break lever and forearm hardware. There is a sling eye mounted on the underside of the barrels. Third fastener, double bolt, auto ejectors, automatic tang mounted safety, double triggers and mounted with a multi-point checkered walnut forearm with horn forend insert and pistol grip stock with teardrop flats, horn grip cap and buttplate, and silver initial oval.

Condition: Partially refinished, the barrels, with 95% of the factory quality blue finish remaining, with some scattered thinning to plum. The trigger guard retains 50% original blue finish with a smooth gray patina on the balance. The bottom receiver plate retains 80% original thinning blue finish. The action retains 75% original case colors with a smooth gray patina on the balance. The forearm hardware has a smooth gray patina with strong original case colors in the protected area of the latch. The wood is excellent overall with a series of minor dents on the underside of the stock behind the initial oval, otherwise light handling marks and crisp checkering. The forend insert has been re-glued and there is some insect damage to the buttplate. The markings and engraving are clear. Mechanically excellent.
