Engraved Remington Rider Magazine Pistol with Rare Ivory Grips and a Vintage Cartridge
Produced between 1871 and 1888. Blade and breechblock mounted peep sights, with the standard two-line "E. REMINGTON & SONS, ILION, N.Y. / RIDERS PAT. AUG. 15, 1871" on the top barrel flat, silver finished checkered magazine cap and checkered hammer and breechblock spur. Zig zag engraving is visible on the sides and upper flats of the barrel, with punch dot backed scroll engraving on the sides of the frame and the backstrap. Grips are smooth two piece ivory. With notes from the consignor and a vintage cartridge.

Condition: Excellent, with 98% plus of the nickel finish, showing a few light handling marks overall. A tiny chip is visible on the left side of the frame near the hammer. Wear is visible on the edge and high points of the magazine cap. Grips are excellent, with a few minor scuffs and handling marks, fine color and attractive grain. Mechanically excellent.
