Manufactured in 1925. This shotgun has a full choked vent rib barrel with dual ivory sights on the matte vent rib, 3" chamber and ejector. "C" is marked above the serial number on the water table and "4" is marked below it. The left side of the barrel has the one line address and "ACME STEEL". The casehardened receiver has a full coverage scroll engraving on a punch dot background with "PARKER BRO." on both sides and a flying pigeon on the trigger guard plate. Scrollwork extends to the forearm hardware, trigger guard and break lever. Matching serial number on the barrel, frame and lower tang. Blue barrel and trigger guard, casehardened receiver, break lever and forearm hardware, and mounted with a checkered, fancy grain walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with a raised comb, initial oval inscribed "RG" and a Jennings recoil pad. LOP 14". Complete with a plain two piece cardboard box.

Condition: Refinished with 99% plus blue finish and case colors remaining. There is some minor spotting on the bottom of the receiver and trigger guard plate. The wood is excellent with a few overall minor dents and dings, a minor age crack on the upper right rear of the stock and crisp checkering. The markings and engraving are clear. Mechanically fine.
