Manufactured in 1922 and subsequently professionally embellished. This revolver features approximately 60% coverage of floral scroll and punch dot engraving on the barrel, outer edge of the ejector housing, frame, cylinder flats, trigger guard, front strap toe and back strap. The top of the ejector housing and top strap have a simple vine and leaf pattern. The top of the barrel is marked with the one line address, the left side is marked "45 COLT" amid the engraving and the left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent dates in a panel followed by the Rampant Colt. The serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame. Nickel finish with niter blue trigger and hammer with polished sides and fitted with smooth replacement simulated pearl grips.

Condition: Professionally embellished with 97% nickel finish remaining, showing some flaking on the muzzle, front sight and a small area on the trigger guard. The grips are excellent with a small chip on the right heel and light handling marks overall. The markings and engraving are crisp and clear. The action is fine.
