English style lance, forged metal tip, and hardwood pole, with red and white pennant or guideon attached by leather which is screwed down. Center portion also shows a leather hand loop or grip. The bottom of the poleshows a forged iron end, measuring 109-1/4” from tip to end. The blade portion measures 6-3/4”. The metal shows some darkening, the leather shows normal aging. The type of lance carried by English cavalry in the 19thcentury and at the time of the charge of the Light Brigade. The pendant shows machine stitching. From a prop house who used a lot of original arms in the Golden Era which they refitted to each production. Est: $350 -700
