English early 19th century flintlock pistol of the style made for trade to America. The pistol measures 14-1/4” overall, 8-3/4” brass barrel, full stock, brass mounts, lock marked “H. Young”, who was a New York Stateagent with pistol showing British proofs. The condition is good with some light to slightly heavy pitting on the lock. The barrel shows a good patina, the stock is good with some small losses, minor dings, mars, slight cracks, normal aging. The pistol is in its original flintlock configuration and is generally good overall with an old simple wood ramrod.
