English double rifle in .577-500 black powder express cal., with exposed hammers, under lever, signed "Thomas Turner, Fisher Street, Birmingham". The rifle measures 42-1/2" overall with 26" barrels, the barrels shows 60-80% original blue drifting to brown, and show a nicely filed rib with a folding rear sight. The lockplates show 15-30% case hardening; the frame has been lightly cleaned long ago and is going back to a patina. The stocks have been nicely refinished, nice checkering and a good appearance. The action is tight, the bores are near excellent, the arm is fully functioning and in very good condition. A classic English big game riflefrom the African Exploration era. #2287 Est.: $2,750-$5,500

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
