For your consideration is an Enfield No. 2 Mark I .38 caliber six shot revolver. The Enfield No.2 was a British top-break revolver using the .38/200 round manufactured from 1932 to 1957. It was the standard British/Commonwealth sidearm in the Second World War. This revolver features a 5" hexagonal barrel with fixed blade front sight. The revolver has a spurless hammer and is double-action only, meaning that the hammer can not be thumb-cocked by the shooter for each shot. The left side of the barrel is marked "38 - 767" - 3 1/2 Tons." The cylinder is also marked on each chamber "crown over BNP." The right of the frame is marked "England" and has another crown over BNP hallmark. The revolver is in good mechanical condition. The firearm shows loss of finish and a non professional refinishing. The barrel is bright and the rifling is crisp. Serial Number: B7686. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic Long Gun, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
