Enfield No. 1 MK III bolt-action rifle converted, likely in Ishapore, India to a single shot .410 shotgun caliber by use of a special .303 case that was not necked down; 25” barrel, black military style finish, full wood stock with magazine well filled with a wood block when converted, sling swivels and bayonet lug, #83884; left side of the rear frame band is marked “410, RFI, 1949”. This gun is in overall very good condition asconverted with a crisp action, very good markings, fine smooth bore, very good wood , majority of military style finish remaining on metal surfaces. An interesting variation of the famous Enfield rifle. Est.:$125-$250.
