This item originates from the private collection of Elvis Aaron Presley and has been exhibited in museums worldwide over the past 40 years, including the Elvis Presley Museum in Niagara Falls, Canada, where it was on display for 18 years, as well as Dreamland in Ohio, Elvis and Friends in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, the Presley Museum on Tour, The Private Collection of the King on Tour, and the Memphis King. Items from these combined collections have been showcased in museums and exhibitions across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Italy, England, Hungary, Ireland, Austria, and Japan.

The pieces within this collection were acquired directly from key members of Elvis Presley’s inner circle, close associates, and renowned entertainment figures. Primary sources include Bill Yates—a Sun Records recording artist, friend of Elvis, part-time entourage member in the 1960s, and Elvis's first honky-tonk piano player in the early 1950s—and Seymour Heller, the prominent manager of Liberace and numerous celebrities, including Elvis Aaron Presley Jr.
