Early production Remington model 51, .380 caliber, semiautomatic pistol, early production, #PA2. The pistol remains in near fine original condition with 95% plus original blue, some slight losses at the high points, edges, and operating areas. Very good to near fine original grips discolored slightly. Some minor scratches, handling, some slight use. Good action, bright bore. Includes original magazine. The pistol showsseveral small variations no found on later production pistols. This pistol as a gift to Keith Coulter by Pederson when they worked for a company doing defense contracts more than 60 years ago. This pistol is well knownto Santa Barbara area collectors and Remington collectors alike for more than 50 years and Coulter kept it as a memento to his friendship with Pederson and never offered it for sale.
