Early carved slim Jim holster for Colt Dragoon with light floral carving and front marked Fruend & Bro. Rear of holster is also lightly floral carved and bordered. The original belt loop is retained and is verywide and would except a slightly over 5” wide belt. The front of the holster has been cut to except a strap so that the holster could be worn on either side. The condition is good to very good. Stitching tight and some minor wear spots with normal aging. Fruend and Bro were located in Denver, Colorado and were suppliers to the buffalo hunters. Western marked percussion holsters for Dragoons are scarce and desirable. Est.: $1,250-$2,500.
