Early World War II Inland Mfg. U.S. Army Semi-Automatic M1 Carbine

A correctly restored very early WWII U.S. Inland carbine with standard receiver markings, rear bridge marked "INLAND DIV./359471". Various early features such as the two position flip rear sight, correct "INLAND/General Motors" marked 4-43 dated barrel, type I barrel band, flat bolt, milled trigger guard, smooth safety button, with "M/WA" marked magazine catch. Fitted with a newly manufactured early pattern stock with the high wood and "I" cut oiler slot stock and 2-rivet pattern with deeper sight groove handguard. Sling slot has been restamped with a single Ordnance Bomb proof, with a cross-cannon cartouche on the right side with a circled "P" proof on the flat of the pistol grip. With a "U" marked 15 round magazine.

Very fine as professionally restored/assembled with 99% of the current parkerized finish remaining overall. The stock and handguard are also both excellent with only very minor handling marks in a couple areas with clear sharp restamped cartouches and proofs. A nice restored example of an early Inland M1 Carbine.
