Early U.S. Colt First Model martial percussion Dragoon revolver, .44 cal., 7-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, #4034. This gun is in overall very good condition showing an overall grey/brownpatina to barrel assembly and cylinder with some slight scattered spots of erosion and pin prick pitting at firing areas; approx. 30% original cylinder scene remaining; traces of case color on frame and loading leverwith balance a mixed silvery tone and grey/brown patina; scattered small old nicks on left side of frame; all matching numbers including arbor except for the wedge that is numbered 631; trigger guard number is earlystyle being split on each side of the forward guard screw; good action, bore and markings; good + grips with visible inspector’s cartouche on left grip with some old mars and staining; a very nice early martial FirstModel Dragoon from an old collection. We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
