Early Smith and Wesson #2 Army revolver, cal. .32, Serial #6976. Manufactured in 1862, the revolver is in overall very good condition with a 6” barrel. An early two pin variation made during the Civil War, the revolver retains 30-50% of itsblued finish, legible dates on the cylinder and a good barrel address. The bore is fair and action good, while the markings are clear and legible. The hinge and screw show some cobbling with a small repair made in the field at some juncture of the pistols service. The smooth wood grips are in overall good condition with small mars consistent with field use. (Antique). Est.: $500-$1,000.
