This is a very early production rifle probably made circa 1974, with blade front and "NM/2A" peep rear sights, with the barrel marked "NM" on top and a "SA" bolt. Installed in a glass-bedded M14-style stock, with front and rear selector cutouts, a small Department of Defense stamp on the left, circled "P" on the wrist, and a flip-up shoulder rest. With a front sight/muzzle protector, operating rod handle cover, and a steel drop-in brass deflector.
