Manufactured in 1882. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line address, the upper left front of the trigger guard is marked "45 CAL" and the serial number is on the toe of the butt. Blade front and frame notch rear sights, lanyard on the butt, all nickel finish with niter blue trigger and hammer, (polished sides), and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the top.

Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 90% plus bright original nickel finish with scattered minor flaking front of cylinder, left side of muzzle, and around grip strap. Almost all of the original bright niter blue remains on the hammer and 60% on the trigger. The slightly oversize replacement grips are excellent also with a few minor dings and crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
