Manufactured in 1913, the second year of production for the commercial 1911 pistol. The slide has standard two line, two block patent dates and address markings with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations. The right side of the slide has the standard caliber marking and the serial number and "GOVERNMENT MODEL" are marked on the right side of the frame. The trigger guard has the Colt triangle proof and "R" on the left side. Standard fixed sights, lanyard ring on the heel, two tone unmarked replacement military magazine and fitted with checkered diamond pattern walnut grips.

Condition: Fine. The pistol retains 40% plus original blue finish mixed with smooth gray and brown patina, and showing a few scattered minor scratches. The grips are very good with some moderate lower edge wear, a few minor dents and dings, and overall crisp checkering. The markings remain crisp and clear. The replacement barrel has had the exposed chamber area polished. Mechanically excellent.
