This is an example of a 1939 dated Mauser Luger pistol rig that is complete with a WWII leather holster, take down tool and spare magazine. The chamber is dated 1939 with the "S/42" code markings on the front toggle. The barrel extension has the double "eagle/63" Waffenamt spread wing Nazi eagle firing proofs which also appears on the right side of the barrel and the left side of the breechblock. The pistol is complete with an original WWII brown leather holster that is marked on the back, "GEBRUDER/KLINGER/DRESDEN/1939" over single "Eagle WaA142" Waffenamt proof. It is complete with two all blued, unmarked, folded steel magazine with aluminum bases both marked the same; "42/5372s".

Condition: Refinished overall with 85% of the blue finish remaining. The grips are very good with nice checkering and with only minor handling marks with light wear across the tops of the checkering, with a small chip in the upper left rear corner of the grip. The holster is fine with a nice medium brown color overall showing only minor scratches and light scuffs in a few places with tight stitching overall with nice clear and distinct markings on the the back. The pistol has all matching numbers to include the two magazines which have been restamped.
