Early Parker Bros. 12ga exposed hammer double-barrel shotgun with release in front of triggerguard, browned and case hardening finish, standard wood stocks, serial #10042. The gun shows 28” barrels, is choked Improved Cylinder (left) and Cylinder (right). The barrels shows 75-85% original brown with most of the pattern showing nicely. Some slight scratches, just beginning minor aging. The lockplate and frame show 50-70% casehardening drifting to a light silver with some very bright hues. The triggerguard shows 60-70% bright original blue that is thinning. There is also bright blue on the finger release and triggers. The stocks arevery good plus with standard grade, just a couple of light scratches. The original buttplate is retained, the stock is its full length measuring 15”. The barrels are tight upon the frame, bores bright, the gun lockstight. Hard to find a better example of a better Parker as they were normally well used. Collector’s grade. Est: $1,500 - $3,000
