This is one of only 580 shotguns and was manufactured in 1913. White bead front sight, brass mid bead sight, choked modified/modified and 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors. The top of the right barrel is marked "L.C. SMITH EAGLE GRADE", the top of the left barrel is marked "HUNTER ARMS Co. M'F'R'S FULTON, N.Y.", there are flourishes of floral scroll engraving at the breech end of the barrel and a gold inlaid band towards the rear of the solid rib. The bottom flat of the nitro steel barrels are marked with the serial number "216931" over "EE". The receiver and side plates have floral scroll engraving with a duck in flight on the right side plate and a pheasant in flight on the left side plate. The break lever has an eagle in flight. Mounted on a multi-point checkered walnut forearm with ebony tip and straight grip walnut stock with Pachmayr recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 1/2 inches.

Condition: Partially professionally refinished, the barrels, which retain 99% blue finish with a small area of wear around the gold inlaid band and some scattered minor scratches and nicks. The trigger guard/lower tang retains 95% original blue finish. The casehardened components retain 98% vivid original case colors. The wood is very good with a short hairline crack extending from the rear of the right side plate, scattered minor scratches, dings and added recoil pad.
