Made circa 1750. Silver finished brass dovetail front sight on a raised half-ring base, with a notch rear sight and decorative ribbing towards the breech. The banana lock is marked "T.W.Pistor", with scroll designs at the rear and light engraving below the flash pan. Smooth stock, with a brown horn tip, horn tipped ramrod with brass pipes, exceptional raised relief carvings around the tang with teardrop patterns on the sides, and engraved brass reverse plate, trigger guard and buttcap.

Condition: Good, showing a mixed dark gray and brown patina overall, with scattered handling marks and pitting. The stock is very good, with a crack at the tip and scattered dings overall. Mechanically good.
