Early European pistol, circa 1760’s converted to percussion (circa 1830’s), .70 cal., barrel reduced to 9-3/4”, wood stock, brass mounts, brass tipped wood ramrod, barrel and lockplate both show remnants of old proof marks; overall fair togood condition showing an even grey patina to iron surfaces and pleasing mellow patina to brass mounts, action not working; wood stock is overall good with a rich, un-cleaned patina, several old cracks and an old loss on the left forestock areaabove the front portion of the lockplate.
