Manufactured in 1917. Blade front and flat top square notch rear sights with the two line/ two block address and patent markings, (1897-1913) on the left side of the slide, Rampant Colt behind the serrations and "COLT AUTOMATIC / CALIBRE.45" ahead of the ejector port on the right side. "GOVERNMENT MODEL/ C86630" on the right side of the frame with colt triangle "VP" proof and "X" on the left side of the trigger guard. Equipped with a wide checkered hammer, smooth trigger, short grip safety, checkered slide catch, thumb safety, magazine release and smooth flat mainspring housing with a lanyard ring on the heel. Two tone unmarked magazine and fitted with checkered walnut grips with the diamond pattern around the screws.

Condition: Professionally restored to near mint condition. The grips are excellent with a couple diamonds in the checkering chipped off and overall sharp checkering. The markings are highlighted in white and remain clear and crisp. Mechanically excellent.
