Manufactured in Belgium. Single brass bead sight on the matte solid rib, marked "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY OGDEN UTAH" in a panel, 2 9/16 inch chamber and chokes at cylinder. Light scroll engraved receiver marked "BROWNING" over TRADE bust of John M. Browning MARK on the left side, and the St. Louis address on the upper left. The left rear of the barrel is marked "CYLINDER 16 SPECIAL STEEL OK g 877" followed by various Belgium proofmarks. The right side of the barrel is marked "MADE IN BELGIUM". Suicide safety, and mounted with a checkered walnut forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with a hard rubber "BROWNING AUTOMATIC", "FN" buttplate.

Condition: Good with possible pre-war refinish. The barrel retains 80% original thin blue finish with areas fading to a smooth gray and brown patina. The receiver retains 95% blue finish with some thinning and high edge wear. The trigger guard and lower tang are a mix of thin original blue finish and smooth brown patina. The wood is good with 90% original varnish remaining. Most of the finish loss is limited to the forearm which also shows some crazing and a deep scratch in the checkering. There are a couple of deep scratches on the stock and overall some minor scuffs and scratches, and the checkering on the wrist is crisp. The markings and engraving are clear. Mechanically excellent.
