Early 20th century dueling foil with cup hilt etched and engraved with wire wrapped grip, European manufacture. High quality. Showing engraved plaque affixed to blade that is engraved in brass “Salle Paul Fencing Club/ Spee D’Honneur/1932/Peter Cheyney”. The sword measures approx. 43-1/2” overall, 35-1/2” blade. The cup is lined with padded velvet. The sword shows some cleaning and appears to be somewhat earlier than the presentation. Somewhat earlier than the presentation.
