Early 1903 Springfield bayonet showing Springfield armory and 1920 date, U.S. marked serial number 1161123. Blade and mounts show original parkerized finish of which approx. 90% remains. Wood grips were at least verygood. The 1907 dated leather scabbard cover is very good plus with some minor tatters, retaining its original hangar, is marked RIA and inspected by “HEK”. The bayonet is its full original 16” length. Inside throat ofthe scabbard is marked “Company 3, Ind. #14”. Possibly Indiana. Est: $200 - $400
