Thomas (Tommy) Singer (born 1940 - May 31, 2014)
He is one of the most regarded silversmiths in Navajo history having created the ‘CHIP INLAY’ an intricate use of turquoise and coral chips integrated in to the silver work. This method made Mr. Singer famous world around in the 60’s. He is known for his overlay work, storyteller pieces, rug patterns and traditional motifs.
Beautiful bright apple green turquoise set in a classic Navajo sterling setting. Turquoise measures 14 mm long by 6 mm wide, the sterling setting is 20 mm long by 15 mm wide and weigh 3 grams each for a total of 6 grams. Earrings are stamp sterling and signed EYD by the artist. Earring backs are stamped sterling and have a pictorial hallmark NOTE: this could be Orvile Jack Turquoise from northern Nevada it is known for is distinctive yellowish green color
