1) “CAMILLUS USN” MK1 WW2 side knife with sheath, 5” blade sharpened, leather closure broken on sheath, otherwise good
2-4) Three well crafted heavy duty custom bowies, 7-8” blades made from large files, integral forged “thumb guards”, stag slab grips, 2 signed with hammer, one signed with hammer and anvil stamped on ricasso, 2 have sheaths with belt loops, very good overall and very sharp
5) Custom 8.5” spearpoint sculpted & beveled blade with Spanish notch, hardwood slab grips, unknown signature (cryptic). Good overall with fitted leather sheath, verdigris on ferrule.
6-7) Two customs made with very similar 8” tapered clip point blades, integral shaped tangs each fitted with different shaped hardwood grip slabs of same type. unknown signature made with 2 half moons making “P”, very good overall
8) 5. Fine custom Sheffield-style bowie made by the late Paducah KY knifemaker Larry D. Brandsetter (1941-1997), 10.5” overall, 6” blade, with sharpened 3” clip, signed “LDB” and number “110”, very good overall, patinaed ivory slabs, one bolster is loose.
9). Well used Joseph Rogers, Sheffield utility knife, 5” blade, sheath missing belt loop, good overall
10). Well used 5.5” Sheffield clip point knife in contemporary brown leather scabbard with hammer and anvil makers mark Like a couple other knives in this lot. good overall
11). “CASE XX” Kentucky Bicentennial knife, 1976, like new in sleeved decorated box. PROVENANCE: Estate of Frank Glenn Marsh. (02-17053/JS). $400-800.
