This is a fantastic book! It provides pastiche examples of many jazz and blues forms with an analysis of each piece and further recommend listening. In terms of difficulty, it ranges from ABRSM grade 1 through 6 and provides an excellent starting point for improvisation. It's also great for sight reading practice for the higher grades, owing to the mixture of straight and swung rhythms
