E. Whitney .36 caliber percussion revolver, Civil War era, barrel reduced during period of use to 6-3/4”, wood grips, grey patina finish. Serial #24091. The metal surfaces are good with some scattered light to moderateerosion and pitting. The grips are good with normal wear, small imperfections, some dings, mars, small losses. The action is good, the bore is very good. The barrel has been professionally set back in the frame givingit a tight seal against the cylinder for shooting purposes.
