Dragoon size percussion revolver, marked on right side of frame "K.K.P. Maschin Fabrik Innsbruck". The left side of the frame is marked patent 1842. The revolver measures 12-1/2" overall with 5-1/4" barrel ofapproximately .44 cal. The 6-shot cylinder is single action revolved and the pistol shows a large dragoon size grip. The condition is good to very good with light to moderate scattered pitting and erosion; goodmarkings, good grips, generally good overall with 2 frame screws marred. This revolver was made between the time Colt manufactured the Paterson and before the Walker. A direct competitor to Colt, not really a Brevette as the manufacturer possessed its own patent, which must have been a subject of controversy as the bored-through cylinder revolving around a central axis was preceded by Colt. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
